In Brief

TheGreenInterview.com is a subscription web site of extended interviews – normally about an hour in length – between Silver Donald Cameron and the thinkers, writers and observers whose ideas and perceptions are leading the way to a new era of sustainability. Almost all the interviews are in high-definition video, with MP3 audio tracks and transcripts available separately for download. Each interview also has a “comments” section where members are invited to react and interact.

Our Team

How We Work

The Green Interview is not so much a company as it is a congenial little network of independent professionals, each with a particular expertise.

Silver Donald Cameron has the overall direction of the site; he identifies the prospective interviewees, and organizes and conducts the interviews. Chris Beckett films, edits and oversees all aspects of the actual production. As Chris likes to put it, “Silver Donald handles everything in front of the camera, and I handle everything behind it.”

When an interview is booked, Linda Pannozzo researches the person to be interviewed, and prepares a briefing document and a biography.

After an interview is completed and edited, it is transcribed by one of several independent transcribers, and the transcript is edited and prepared for release by Linda Pannozzo. The audio, video, transcript and biography are posted to the site by Robert Samson and Neil Kenny of Samson-Kenny I.M. Solutions, who develop, maintain and manage the website. All of us live and work in different parts of the province of Nova Scotia, Canada, but we travel widely and collect interviews from all over the world
